AnthroPosts is a flash-based, interactive visualization of post-it notes the designer found on his daily travels in NYC and abroad.  He defines AnthroPosts as “documents, urban artifacts, that hold something interesting for those willing to look [that] not only document a moment in the life of a stranger but they hold something of the stranger himself: the way they write, how they capture ideas.”  Using Mechanical Turk, speech representations of the posts, and location and time found are included in the visualization, as well as different ways of viewing the 335 notes (i.e., by color, complexity and common word overlap).
